Welcome to the University of Arkansas' High Density Electronics Center (HiDEC) website. HiDEC is one of only a few working laboratories of its kind in the United States located on a university campus.  The High Density Electronics Center, at the University of Arkansas, strives to excel at research, education, and outreach.

Our mission is to perform state-of-the-art technological research for students, faculty, and our local and international clientele.

HiDEC also provides students with a hands-on approach to learning. The University of Arkansas College of Engineering undergraduate and graduate student programs, offer a unique opportunity of learning and experience to students through the leadership of the HiDEC staff and access to multiple lab facilities. 

The HiDEC facility is also a technological enabler for local businesses to perform necessary research and prototyping.  The HiDEC staff is willing to aid in the outreach to new businesses and their technological eneavors.
